Independent Insurance Brokers of America Virtual University

Doug Simpson had a question about the impact of recent decisions invalidating the absolute pollution exclusion on toxic mold cases. I have to be circumspect about answering, because I or someone else at my firm might end up handling such a case.

It looks like in other states, the courts are split on this question, based on what I read at the Independent Insurance Brokers of America website.

This interesting site has a lot of insurance related resources, including full text pdf whitepapers, like the The Insurance Implications of Toxic Mold Claims, and a Commentary written by Randy J. Maniloff,
Absolute Pollution Exclusion: Drano And The Litigation Clog Five Reasons Why There Is No End In Sight To The Litigation, published by Mealey's Litigation Report on June 24, 2003.

They are also putting together a huge list of insurance-related links.
